They want to get into farming but some issues need to be urgently addressed.

Those are the words of Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama who said the government is now focused on making things easier for those who want to continue or get into agriculture farming in the Northern Division.

Following his visit to the Northern Division, Commodore Bainimarama said some institutions need to re-look at how they are doing things to ensure that the people in the North are not turned away from farming.

Commodore Bainimarama said the Land Transport Authority also thinks that it is a money making organisation and this mindset needs to change.

The Prime Minister returned from the North yesterday and is expected to open the Fiji Accountants Congress in Sigatoka later this morning.
