The Methodist Church of Fiji has confirmed that two government departments renting the Reverend John Hunt building in Suva have moved to other locations.
Assistant General Secretary Reverend Tevita Nawadra said the Water Department has been privatized by the government and they have moved to Laucala Beach while the Scholarship Unit is now moved to the PSC office.
Nawadra confirmed that the government is their contracted tenant for 20 years and they have been told that the office which has been vacated by the Water Authority and the Scholarship Unit will be occupied by other government departments.
At the moment, the only government ministry still occupying the John Hunt building is the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
FICAC is expected to move into the building soon.
