The Chairman of the Peoples Charter Advisory Council has raised serious concerns that some government ministries and departments are acting like politicians and looking after their own agenda and interest and not focusing on the task at hand.
While addressing the members of the Council today, Josefa Serulagilagi urged the government departments and ministries to remain focused on implementing the pillars of the Peoples Charter.
Serulagilagi said it time to look at things critically to ensure everyone remains focused on the task at hand.
The Council will now be presented with an update on the Secretariat's Monitoring Unit on how work on implementing various pillars of the Peoples Charter are being implemented within individual ministries and departments.
