The government is now considering request from telecom providers Vodafone Fiji and Digicel to extend the telephone registration period which comes to an end tomorrow.
Attorney General, Aiyaz Saiyed-Khaiyum said they met with the officials of these two service providers and are considering their options.
He said they will be formally replying to the telephone service providers later today.
