The Citizen's Constitutional Forum is concerned that the Auditor-General's report on the Interim Government's expenditure cannot be viewed by Fiji's public as there is no elected Parliament to receive the report.
Chief Executive Reverend Akuila Yabaki said this is unfortunate as the people of Fiji will not be able to hold the Interim Government accountable for its actions, especially since the 2009 Budget had revealed that they had overspent in many areas.
Yabaki adds the government should make the report public as this goes in line with their commitment to transparency.
