All government scholarships will now be reviewed.
Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama told cabinet today that the review of the Fiji government scholarship administered by the PSC, the Multi Ethnic Affairs and Fijian Affairs scholarships will be undertaken by the PSC with the view to harmonize the three in order to remove the differences in the selection criteria.
Bainimarama said all three scholarships are awarded on differing criteria.
He said the aim of the review will be to provide assistance to deserving meritorious students without any discrimination on the parental income bracket, full or partial scholarships and the number of bonded years.
