The Public Service needs to embrace change, move with the times and bring about improvements in efficiency and productivity to achieve better impact and results from its existing resources.
Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office Parmesh Chand said the Interim Government is moving ahead with planning and preparatory work to ensure that delivery of various services and the implementation of the capital projects announced as part of the 2009 Budget are realized.
Chand said one such activity is the convening of a workshop on “Preparedness for the Implementation of 2009 Major Capital Projects”.
He added the whole gvernment machinery needs to be made aware and mobilized well in advance for these projects.
The workshop is scheduled for the 9th of next month at the Police Academy in Nasova.
