Government is keen on setting a platform upon which future development and growth can be benchmarked.
These are the words of Interim Works Minister Timoci Natuva who said the government has earmarked projects for 2009 that are to accommodate the growing population particularly in urban centres.
Natuva while referring to Pillar 5 of the People's Charter said government is committed to building confidence and raising investment levels through upgrading and maintenance of infrastructure essential for enhancing economic growth and quality of life.
Natuva said a few of these projects will be completed soon.
The $2million Laqere four lane bridge was also opened yesterday.
