The Public Service Commission maintains that the interim government will not change its stance on the decision to stall the restoration of the remaining four percent pay cut.
Permanent Secretary Taina Tagicakibau told Village News that it is no surprise that the Fiji Public Service Association and Fiji Teachers Union have filed a trade dispute, however, the decision is final.
FTU General Secretary Agni Deo Singh confirms that they filed their trade dispute last week and are taking this action as the interim government has not honoured the agreement signed earlier this year.
The Labour Ministry is yet to comment on the matter.
