Fiji has a good record in public sector restructuring and just needs to progress it further in order to achieve significant changes for the country.

Those words were revealed by New Zealand based Consultant in Sector Reform, Christopher Russel.

Speaking on the Restructuring the Public Sector on Good Governance, Russel said Fiji has already established a number of state-owned enterprises with a commercial focus and just needs to continue with the momentum.

He adds it is workable and achievable in Fiji to restructure the public sector despite the political uncertainty and prevailing economic conditions since it has already got a good record and has established a number of reformed entities with a commercial focus. The two day seminar ends today.
