Good news for the students who hail from the province of Kadavu as the Provincial Council is expected to take care of their school fees this year.
Chairman of the Council, Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo confirms that after the last council meeting, they have decided that $100,000 be put aside for the children's education.
Nawalowalo said as preparation for the first school term is to start next week, the council has also advised parents to discuss with their children the importance of education that they must study hard and be successful in their future endeavors.
Nawalowalo said they want to ensure that all children in the province have an equal opportunity to excel in life and become assets to the province.
