The price of Motor Spirit, Diesel and Premix Outboard fuel will decrease from tomorrow.
The Price and Incomes Board said the reduction in tanker freight rates, the rebounding of refinery productions and movement in world market price will result in the price reductions.
The Price of Motor Spirit which is $1.98a litre now will be $1.91 per litre come tomorrow while Diesel which costs $1.55 a litre will go down by 2 cents. The price of a litre of Premix Outboard Fuel will decrease by 7 cents costing people $1.89 cents from tomorrow.
The price of Kerosene will not change and it will still cost people $1.28 per litre. According to PIB, any old stock that is purchased before tomorrow will not reflect the decreased prices.
