Savusavu residents have a reason to be happy this Christmas as the Public Rental Board will be officially opening 12 rental flats in the area.
PRB General Manager, Mesake Senibulu said that the flats that will be situated just outside the Town area is aimed at low to middle income earners who on average earn $60-$300 a month.
Meanwhile, Senibulu said with regards to the construction of the four storey buildings in Raiwai and Raiwaqa, everything is on hold at the moment, as the Governments of China and Fiji have yet to work out some finer issues.
The 12 flats situated in Nabauto, will officially be opened on the 11th of this month.
