Taxi drivers are taking full advantage of the extended trading hours for shops, liquor outlets and nightclubs and are still experiencing very good business as we approach the New Year.
Fiji Taxi Union general secretary Rishi Ram said those taxi drivers who decided to sacrifice their time away from their families were able to make good money since the Christmas rush started two weeks ago.
However, Ram added that they have advised taxi drivers to spend their earnings wisely and think of the New Year.
