Good News for miners and their families in Tavua and Vatukoula who are facing financial difficulties.
The Interim government has managed to sign a deal with mining company Westech Limited yesterday, after prolonged negotiations which took over seven months.
Interim Lands and Mineral Resources Minister, Tevita Vuibau said
Westech will be taking over the mines from Monday next week.
Westech Limited Director, Brian Wesson is expected to comment later today.
