Good news for consumers as the Prices and Incomes Board has announced the decrease in the price of petroleum products from tomorrow.

Following the cabinet decision to reduce duty on fuel, motor spirit will cost you $2.32 per litre, which is a 12 cent decrease and diesel will cost $2.28 a litre, a decrease of 11 cents from tomorrow.

There will be no change in the price of kerosene as it will remain at $2.03 per litre however, the price of pre-mix outboard fuel will decrease by 12 cents to $2.26 a litre.

PIB said the retail prices of kerosene and pre-mix outboard fuel, which are determined on percentage mark-up basis are expected to increase to the stated amounts as and when retailers replenish their stock after Friday 15th August.
