Golfer Vijay Singh must finish the BMW Championship in a good position to win the FedEx Cup and the $10-million prize money.
Singh this morning took part in the opening round and shot an even par 70.
He currently lies in 37th place on the leader board.
Singh is 5 shots behind leader Camilo Villegas of Colombo who carded 65.
The second round of the BMW Championship will be played tomorrow.
