Digicel Fiji Sevens co-captain Vereniki Goneva will be running on to the field tomorrow morning knowing he has the support of his family and his whole village.
Ulaisi Naloto, the dad of the 25-year-old said his son will be representing their village Nagado, which is located in the interior of Nadi, and the families will be meeting in their village hall to watch the Fiji team in action.
Goneva's aunt Iva Mere Nadroi said the whole village is behind him.
Fiji takes on Georgia in its first World Cup match tomorrow morning at 4.16am, and Goneva has been picked in the starting line-up.
