In an effort to assist the needy children in the country, Save the Children Fiji has organized a grand golf tournament to raise funds.
Save the Children Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Chandra Shekhar said the tournament was organized last year for the first time and participants have shown keen interest to take part again this year.
Shekhar said they hope to raise more than $20,000 so that they are able to assist the children who need help.
The tournament starts today and around 300 people from the corporate sector, diplomatic corps and NGO's are expected to take part.
The tournament will be held at the Suva Golf Club in Vatuwaqa.
