Less than a year after the new Westech Mining Company took over the ownership of the Vatukoula Gold Mine, it will again change hands.
This time UK based company River Diamonds is to sign an agreement with Westech which will see River Diamonds pay over $71 million dollars in cash and shares to the parent company Westech.
Speaking to Radio Australia, Director Brian Wesson said this changeover deal will not affect the mine.
Wesson said they would be producing 60,000 ounces of gold in the next 12 months.
Wesson also said that he is satisfied with his achievement.
