From the tracks to the soccer field.
This is the sports journey of Form 7 student of Xavier College, Paula Buke who is about to relish his dreams of playing for the Ba soccer team.
Buke who won gold in the Intermediate Boys 800 metres at the 2011 Coca Cola Games and settled for Silver in the Senior Boys 800 and 1,500 metres last year has been included in the Ba soccer squad for the Pillay Garment Champion versus Champion series.
Buke who is originally from Veisaru, Ba said it has always been his dream to wear the black jersey.
Ba will play Nadi at 4pm tomorrow at Prince Charles Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
