Digicel Fiji 7s captain Osea Kolinisau believes Gold Coast is just like their second home.
The 28-year-old former Ratu Sukuna Memorial School student said he is confident that the side can deliver despite losing to Samoa in the Oceania 7s final last week.
Kolinisau added Gold Coast is special because it is just close to home.
Kolinisau has been named at rover for the first game against Canada while Ulaiasi Lawavou, Manueli Laqai and Samuela Saqiwa will start in the forwards.
Westfield Babarians playmaker Waisea Nacuqu will make his debut at halfback, Ilai Tinai at playmaker, and Samisoni Viriviri will start on the wing.
Meanwhile, the Gold Coast 7s kicks off at 12.30pm today and Fiji’s first pool match is against Canada at 1.58pm.
Fiji’s second match is against Portugal at 5.14pm and the last pool match will be against Wales at 9.24pm.
The Cup quarterfinals start at 1.58pm tomorrow, Cup semis kick off at 5.58pm and the Cup final will be played at 9.04pm.
