The people of Tavuki in Kadavu today told the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama that if his Government continues to get opposition then they should continue to be in power until they achieve all of their goals.

The Prime Minister started off his tour of Kadavu earlier today with the people in Tavuki, led by their Chief Tui Tavuki Ratu Joni Duikete traditionally welcoming Commodore Bainimarama to Kadavu.

Ratu Joni addressed Government delegation led by the Prime Minister and gave him the message that the people of Tavuki believes that Commodore Bainimarama should continue to lead Fiji beyond 2014 to achieve all their planned reforms, and development programs.

The Tui Tavuki also highlighted their delight as the current government was always quick to deliver on their promises in relation to development projects, which has so far benefitted the people not only of Tavuki but the whole of Kadavu.

Prime Minister Commodore Bainimarama told the people of Tavuki that he was happy with the visit as it gave him a chance to see what was needed and to hear from them first hand.
