Former Fiji Nursing Association General Secretary, Lavenia Padarath said nurses should accept the 60 posts that have been offered to them by the interim regime and go back to work.
Padarath is also of the view that the nurses who are on strike should wait until the economy recovers to have their demands met.
The members of the Fiji Nursing Association are into Day 3 of their nationwide strike, with talks expected to take place today between the FNA's General Secretary, Kuini Lutua and Interim Prime Minister, Frank Bainimarama, to look into the nurses' grievances.
Hospitals around the country are still in operation but with skeletal staff.
