There are a number of young children have been seen, referred to and admitted, to the St Giles hospital as a result of glue sniffing.
Medical Superintendent Dr Shish Narayan said these children who have been sniffing glue for a long time, have been diagnosed with severe brain damage.
According to Narayan, some children who sniff glue later indulge themselves in criminal activities.
