The number of glue sniffing cases is now almost more or the same as marijuana cases.
Media Officer Western Inspector Ranga Sami Goundar said they had more than 30 cases of students sniffing glue and most of them were students of Class 8 and Form 3 in the western division.
He also said the reason these students sniffed glue is because of peer pressure and they are now taking some measures.
He has also urged the parents to supervise their children as school holidays commence from today.
