Glasgow Warriors boss Gregor Townsend hopes to have Australia wing Taqele Naiyaravoro available for selection as soon as possible.

The former Waratahs flyer won his first cap for the Wallabies last weekend against the USA.

Naiyaravoro did not however make Australia’s 31-man squad for the Rugby World Cup, meaning he is now free to link up with Glasgow.

Townsend revealed that the visa process was underway and hopes to have Naiyaravoro involved with the Glasgow squad before the fixture against Munster at the end of the month.
