A 6 year old girl has been admitted in Labasa Hospital with serious head injuries.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Corporal Josaia Weicavu said the incident occurred while the girl was trying to cross the road after getting off the bus yesterday afternoon.
She was bumped by a vehicle driven by a 32 year old salesman who has been questioned and released while investigations continue.
The incident occurred in Nasekula Road, Labasa.
