The son of internationally acclaimed actor, Mel Gibson today donated $50,000 to the Kidney Foundation of Fiji on behalf of his father and mother, Robin.
Milo Gibson, while presenting the cheque to Dr Jioji Malani said that his parents love Fiji, and are fulfilling a promise made four years ago.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of Kydney Foundation, Benedette Rounds Ganilau said the donation comes in time when consumables for the first quarter of 2009 are being ordered and paid for in advance.
The Kidney Foundation of Fiji situated at the CWM Hospital which opened in March this year now has 7 dialysis machines.
