The baby daughter of former All Black Jerry Collins has woken from a coma after brain surgery for injuries suffered in the crash that killed her parents.

The 34-year-old former All Blacks and his partner Alana Madill were killed in a car crash in France on June 5th.

Their daughter Ayla, just three months old, was the sole survivor of the crash and was seriously injured.

Meanwhile, a giant No6 jersey in honour of Collins will be carried around Westpac Stadium in Wellington tomorrow ahead of the Hurricanes versus Brumbies Super Rugby semifinal.

The Hurricanes will host the Brumbies at 7.35pm while the Waratahs will host the Highlanders at 9.40pm Saturday.
