German central midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger will be available to play in the Euro semifinals against Italy on Friday morning.

Schweinsteiger had been in doubt with an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, the Spain and Portugal semifinal tomorrow at 6.45am is likely to feature seven Real Madrid players on either side.
