All Blacks wing Hosea Gear has confirmed that he will be joining the Chiefs for next year's Super Rugby season.
Gear said he is aiming to win back a spot in the All Blacks squad for next year's World Cup in England.
He is currently playing on a short‑term deal with Honda Heat in Japan and will join the Chiefs in February.
Meanwhile in the Rugby Championship this weekend, the All Blacks will take on the Wallabies at 10.05pm this Saturday while South Africa faces Argentina at 3.05am Sunday.
