Fiji Rugby Union Board Chairman, Bill Gavoka said he is unaware whether any invitation has been sent to the Prime Minister for his nominee to the Board.

Under the FRU constitution the PM should have a nominee on the board which consists of two Rakavi Trust members and six others from the respective unions.

Gavoka said the FRU Board will meet tomorrow where he will try and get confirmation on whether any invitation has been sent to the PM for his nominee.

He adds they will also get an update from their lawyer on progress regarding the abolishment of the Rakavi Trust, which the Unions had wanted.

Gavoka said after this meeting, he will then be in a position to confirm the dates of a special annual general meeting which is likely to take place in December.
