Suva Grammar school teacher Viliame Gadolo looks good to be the number one choice hooker in the FMF Flying Fijians in the Rugby World Cup this year.
Speaking to Village sports, the Welagi lad from Taveuni dedicates his representation for Fiji to his late mum, Asinate, who was from Gau, where he feels he acquired his rugby skills from.
Gadolo said that he has continually tried to prove critics wrong and feels that with the proper guidance from his coaches, he is on track for the World Cup.
Gadolo first represented Fiji in the Under-21 grade in 2001, then in the Under-23 the following year and made it into the Fiji Warriors team in 2002.
Meanwhile it is understood that Mosese Rauluni is likely to be named captain of the FMF Flying Fijians to the World Cup tomorrow.
Kele Leawere and Seremaia Bai will act as vice-captains.
