The first round of the GP Batteries National Soccer League next week will now be shifted to Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

Fiji Football Association has confirmed the change of Venue due to the unavailability of Govind Park in Ba.

Govind Park which is leased to Fiji FA by the Ba Town council has sustained damage on the pavilions where parts of the roof were blown away during cyclone Evan.

The damage is estimated to be around $1 million.

Fiji FA Chief Executive officer Bob Kumar said repairing is still underway and they are still not sure when it will reopen.

The first round of the National Soccer League kicks off next Saturday.
