Government will be introducing National Youth Service Scheme from next year.
According to the Interim Youths, Employment Opportunities and Productivity Minister the NYSS is an employment promotion strategy targeting young people.
While addressing TPAF graduates yesterday, Vayeshnoi said that under the NYSS young people will have opportunity to undertake accredited targeted skills training which will be geared toward employment opportunities.
The NYSS clients will have the opportunity into paid employment locally and overseas and opportunities will also be given to those who wish to start their own business through the provisions of start-up capital.
