The Great Council of Chief review team that was tasked to review the role of the Chiefly body handed in its report to the Interim Minister for Fijian Affairs at the Native Land Trust Board Office this morning.

Chairman Ratu Tua-ki-tau Cokanauto said that while they faced some difficulties with three of the provinces who want the review to be carried out by a democratic elected government, this has not stopped the other eleven provinces from showing their support for the GCC's role to be review.

Ratu Epeli Ganilau will submit the report to the cabinet's consideration and endorsement and it will also be handed to his Excellency the President later in the week.
