The new Great Council of Chiefs complex will be opened this Friday by former President and Tui Vuda Ratu Josefa Iloilo and it has been confirmed that the name of the complex at Nasese is the Vale Ni Bose of the Fijian Trust Fund.

Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office Lieutenant Colonel Pio Tikoduadua said the complex will be opened in Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama's absence as he is in New York.

He said the committee headed by Ratu Meli Bainimarama is liaising with provincial administrators and Roko Tuis from different provinces on the chiefs to be invited to the opening of the Vale Ni Bose.

The complex cost $20 million and officials from the Ministry of Indigenous Affairs will move into the new building.
