Futsal squad to be reduced to 12 this Friday

The current 15 member National Futsal squad will be reduced to 12 this Friday for the OFC Futsal Championship on Sunday.

Lautoka soccer team striker Kamal Hassan and Labasa lad, Roy Krishna are expected to lead Fiji in the week long tournament.

Fiji Futsal team has also suffered a setback after a couple of goal keepers have been ruled out due to injuries and young Tavua team goal-keeper, Josaia Ratu will now be fielded as Fiji's top choice goal-keeper.

Meanwhile, Fiji plays a warm up match against USP Solomons selection team tonight and the final 12 member squad is expected to be finalised afterwards.

Fiji's first match in the OFC Futsal Championship will be against Tahiti at 8pm this Sunday at Vodafone Arena.
