Family members of those still listed missing after the sinking of the ferry Princess Ashika in Tonga will take to the streets of Auckland with supporters today for a fundraising march.

Organisers are hoping to raise money to launch an operation to recover bodies from the ferry, which sank on August 5 about 90km northwest of Nukualofa.

Two bodies have been recovered and 72 people remain unaccounted for, fifty-four people survived the sinking.

Pro-democracy campaigner Alani Taione, who organised the march, says Tongan officials would not hesitate to recover bodies if nobles were among those believed to have drowned.
