National Fire Authority officers attended to a fuel spill in Nabua this morning which could have proved a major disaster.
NFA confirms the spill was not due to the tank falling down but it was the leakage from the fuel tank of a bus.
NFA firefighters used Sea Clean Chemical to clear off the road. This chemical is used to remove hazardous materials. The fuel spillage caused a major traffic jam in Nabua this morning.
NFA Chief Fire Officer, Tupou Saumbulinayau said this could have caused a major accident as the road had become slippery due to the fuel spill.
