The fuel tank of a bus fell off this morning while the driver was negotiating a bend in Nabua.
The driver was on his way to a funeral in Nabua.
Although there were no passengers on the bus at the time, the fire fighters at the scene revealed that the 180 litre fuel tank fell off and the diesel spilt all over the road at the junction going into Bay View Heights.
The bus was on its way to pick up mourners from a funeral at the four storey Nabua Housing when it encountered some problems.
Engineers are trying to find out how the fuel tank strapped to the underside of the bus, fell off.
