Fuel prices increase again today due to the increase in international product prices.

The Prices and Incomes Board (PIB) said a litre of unleaded fuel will cost $2.08 from today, which is an increase of 12 cents while a litre of diesel will cost $1.73, an increase of 15 cents.

PIB said consumers in Suva, Lami and Lautoka areas should expect these prices from today while traders and consumers are advised that the prices will differ in other areas due to additional cartage and delivery charges.

Meanwhile, the largest increase is for kerosene. A litre of kerosene will increase by 16 cents to $1.41.

Pre-mix outboard fuel will go up by 12 cents to $2.01.

PIB said the retail prices of kerosene and pre-mix outboard fuel are determined on percentage mark-up basis.

Retail prices are expected to change as and when retailers replenish their stock after 22nd July.
