Fuel prices go up from today.
A litre of unleaded fuel will cost $2.05 from today which will be a 5 cents increase, diesel will also increase from $1.71 to $1.76 a litre.
A litre of kerosene will cost $1.44 from today which is a 6 cents increase while pre-mixed outboard fuel will increase to $1.96.
The Prices and Incomes Board (PIB) said the increase is a result of the increase in the international benchmark crude oil and petroleum product prices for last month.
Consumers in Suva, Lautoka and Lami areas should expect the increase in fuel prices from service stations tomorrow.
The PIB said retail prices of kerosene and premix outboard fuel are determined on percentage mark-up basis.
Retail prices are expected to change as and when retailers replenish their stock after today.
Traders and consumers are advised that the prices will differ in other areas due to additional cartage and delivery charges.
