Fuel prices have decreased this Diwali festival starting tomorrow.
The Prices and Incomes Board has announced the decrease in the wholesale and retail prices of Motor Spirit, Premix Outboard Fuel, Diesel and Kerosene.
The cost of a litre of Diesel tomorrow will now be $1.67, a decrease of 9 cents, while the new price for Motor Spirit is $2.00 a litre, a decrease of 12 cents from $2.12.
The cost of a litre of kerosene tomorrow will now cost $1.34, a decrease of 8 cents, while one litre of premix outboard fuel will now cost $1.91 a litre, a decrease of 13 cents.
The decrease in the prices is due to the reduction in refined product prices and the weakening of the US dollar against the Fiji dollar.
Traders and consumers are advised that the above prices will differ due to additional cartage and delivery charges.
