The price of motor spirit, diesel, kerosene and premix outboard fuel increases effective from today.
The Prices and Incomes Board has revealed that the price of motor spirit increases from $2.06 to $2.13 per liter , an increase of 7 cents while the price of diesel increases by 3 cents from $1.75 to $1.78 per liter.
The price of kerosene increases from $1.44 to $1.46 per liter while the price of premix outboard fuel increases by 8 cents from $1.97 to $2.05 per liter.
The PIB said the increase is due to the sever winter in the Northern Hemisphere and that there has also been an unexpected increase in demand for crude oil from China.
Traders and consumer are advised that the prices will differ in other areas due to additional delivery and cartage charges.
