The main concern in the Digicel Fiji 7's team is frustration that creeps in when the team does not have possession.
Head coach, Alivereti Dere has revealed this to Fijivillage this afternoon saying he has seen in the last two tournaments that our players lose focus when they do not have ball in hand.
Dere said his players will overcome this in Hong Kong.
We also posed him the question on the selection of Nemani Nagusa as the captain as some comments have been made that Nagusa does not have the qualities to lead the team.
Meanwhile Ilai Tinai did not take part in the captain’s run today as he is in Bua to see his mother who is sick.
He is expected to be in Suva by tomorrow.
The team leaves for Hong Kong on Monday morning.
The Hong Kong 7s starts next Friday with Fiji taking on Hong Kong at 9.06pm.
