French rugby club Clermont have set their sights on star All Blacks winger Sitiveni Sivivatu.

Clermont are the latest French outfit to put Sivivatu at the top of their list after they recently had a spot open up for a premier wing.

Fijian wing Napolioni Nalaga had his contract terminated after failing to return to France from a trip home and the Chiefs wing is No 1 on the club's list of preferred signings to replace him.

Mils Muliaina and Brad Thorn have already been closely linked with Japan, while Sivivatu is just one of around a half dozen test regulars being sought by French clubs.

Sivivatu will be in action for the Chiefs this Saturday at 6.35pm when they will take on the Blues.
