Good news for tenants as Landlords will not be able to impose any increase in rent on their property for another six months.
Prices and Incomes Board Secretary Ane Naulivou confirmed to Village news the rent freeze currently in place will now remain in force until June 30th,2008.
Naulivou said the decision reflects the fact the people are facing difficult times.
The PIB stresses that those who do not adhere to the freeze on all rent will be taken to task.
