The governments free school bus fare program will go electronic from the second term of school this year through Telecom Fiji's Electronic Ticketing Solution.
This was revealed this morning as the Fiji Bus Operators Association Annual General Meeting got underway at the Novotel in Lami.
TFL's Manager Commercial Litiana Bainimarama told stakeholder that all systems are in place to implement the electronic ticketing system which will ease the burden on the Education Ministry and individual schools.
Bainimarama explained how the new system will work and monitored through the electronic pre-paid system.
